Hampton Elementary serves approximately 520 students, mainly from Hampton, Merritt, and Portsmouth Townships, in Bay County. We offer 3 sections of grades kindergarten – fifth grade, with the exception of second grade in which we offer four sections. Our experienced staff of teachers is dedicated to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible. Our goal is to help every child reach his or her full potential.
Hampton Elementary is an exciting place to learn. A variety of special subjects are included in our curriculum, such as French, Art, Physical Education, Computers, Media and Music. Additionally, we offer a Gifted and Talented Program and Special Education services to meet the wide variety of needs of our students. After renovations in 2001, our students enjoy the opportunity to learn in a state of the art facility.
Hampton Elementary School has an active, caring, and hard working parent volunteer group. Parents are encouraged to volunteer their services in many ways. We have many types of volunteer opportunities including tutoring, assisting classroom teachers, and volunteering in the library. Parent involvement is an integral part to the success of our school.
